1. Agreement to these terms

By creating an account or using FounderGPT, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the product. We may update these terms from time to time as described in Section 12.

2. What FounderGPT is

FounderGPT gives you access to an AI-powered conversational companion intended to support founders with strategy, fundraising, finance, and related topics, as well as how you're holding up along the way. Responses are generated by an AI model and can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong.

FounderGPT is not a substitute for a lawyer, accountant, financial advisor, therapist, or other licensed professional. Nothing in the app is financial, legal, tax, medical, or other professional advice, and you're solely responsible for decisions you make based on conversations in the app. If you're in crisis or need urgent help, contact local emergency services or a licensed professional, not FounderGPT.

3. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to use FounderGPT. You sign in with Google, and you're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Plans, minutes, and usage

Some features are available on a paid plan, which may include a monthly subscription, usage measured in minutes, or both, as described on the Subscription and Purchases pages at the time you subscribe or top up. We may change plan structure, pricing, or included usage going forward; we'll give you notice of material changes before they apply to your next billing cycle.

5. Payments and billing

Paid usage is billed in advance using the payment method on file, through our payment processor. Prices are shown in your local currency where available and may include applicable taxes.

All payments are final and non-refundable, including partial billing periods, unused minutes, and unused subscription time, except where a refund is required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us through the Support page and we'll look into it, but issuing a refund is at our discretion outside of legally required cases.

Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. Canceling stops future charges but doesn't refund the current period.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use FounderGPT to:

Break the law or facilitate illegal activity; harm, harass, or deceive others; attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or misuse the underlying AI systems; send content that's abusive, exploitative, or infringes someone else's rights; or interfere with the security or normal operation of the service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of what you send us in conversation. You give us a limited license to process it in order to run the product, respond to you, and operate and improve FounderGPT, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

FounderGPT, its branding, and its underlying software are owned by us or our licensors. These terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks, logo, or brand assets beyond using the product as intended.

9. Disclaimers

FounderGPT is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FounderGPT and its team aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

11. Termination

You can stop using FounderGPT and delete your account at any time from your Profile. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, or discontinue the service with reasonable notice.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll let you know about material changes, and continuing to use FounderGPT after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
